Dr Veronika Nagy is Assistant Professor at the Willem Pompe Institute for Criminal Law and Criminology in Utrecht, the Netherlands.

She completed her PhD in the DGCG programme funded by Erasmus Mundus+.

Her research interest includes surveillance, securitization of international migration. She has conducted research on specific forms of securitization, financial surveillance, ethnic mobility, human trafficking, and digital profiling (exploitation of workers, forced criminal activities and forced labour, trafficking of children).
